President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a written letter to Abdul Latif Rashid, President of Iraq, with an official invitation to attend the COP28 climate conference, to be hosted by the UAE at Expo City Dubai this November.
The letter was delivered by Salem Issa Qattam Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Iraq.
The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP28, will be the 28th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from November 30th until December 12th, 2023 at the Expo City, Dubai.
The conference has been held annually since the first UN climate agreement in 1992. Governments to agree on policies to limit global temperature rises and adapt to impacts associated with climate change use it.
