At least five people were killed, while eight others sustained different injuries in a collision that occurred between two vehicles, one of them was Emirati and the other was Saudi, the Okaz newspaper reported.
The accident reportedly took place on Tuesday on the “Batha-Haradh” road in Saudi Arabia.
The victims’ identities have not been revealed yet.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud Bin Nayef, directed to follow-up on the condition of the injured people, and to facilitate the procedures for transporting the deceased.
It was also said that one of the vehicles was carrying a family of seven people, while the second was carrying a family of 12 people.
The accident resulted in burning of one of the vehicles, local media reported.
