Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, who is currently undertaking the longest space mission in Arab history, called on media outlets to focus on attractive content that enriches and supports societies' march towards further progress, prosperity and development, in addition to highlighting inspiring models and exchanging solutions and creative ideas about global challenges.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency from aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as part of "A Call from Space" event, Al Neyadi said that "It is our duty to communicate information to viewers about space science, maintenance and daily scientific experiments inside the ISS.”
"At the same time, we are proud to transmit the whole picture from inside the ISS and deliver it to back to Earth through easy and familiar phrases that bring science and its terminology closer to the hearts and minds of the public,” he added.
Past series with astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi witnessed the attendance of thousands of space enthusiasts and those interested in the details of the longest space mission in the history of the Arabs.
