A Bosnian man killed his ex-wife in a horrific way, documenting the crime in a live broadcast on his Instagram account, to be seen by more than 12,000 followers and 126 likes.
In the details, a person named Nermin Sulejmanovic posted a video clip on Instagram, telling his followers that they would see a murder live, then he appeared in the video after that, holding a gun and firing a bullet at a woman’s forehead, while screams were heard.
While the police were chasing him after he fled from the crime scene.
The video was later removed by Instagram.
Nermin broadcast two other videos, claiming that he had shot a number of people in the street before fleeing, according to local media reports.
The police in the city of Tuzla said in a statement: The attack took place in the town of Gradacac in northeastern Bosnia, where the attacker left three wounded before he “committed suicide” before his arrest.
The police added that after killing his ex-wife, he took to the streets of Gradacac with a gun, and shot, killing a man and his son.
He also injured a police officer and another man and woman at different locations in the town.
"This is a huge shame for our society,” Bosnian Human Rights Minister Sevid Hurtic said.
Hurtic noted that 19 women were slaying victims in 2020 and 2021; Bosnia has a population of 3.2 million.
Bosnian media said Sulejmanovic, 35, was a bodybuilder and fitness coach with past arrests on charges of drug smuggling and attacking a police officer.
