The teams of rescuers and paramedics with the support of aviation wing of Ras Al Khaimah Police were able to rescue two Emirati teenagers 16 and 17, who were stuck in a rugged mountainous area in Wadi Qada'a on Wednesday afternoon.
One of them reportedly suffered from exhaustion.
The operations room received a report on Wednesday afternoon stating that two Emirati boys were stuck in a rugged mountainous area in Wadi Qada'a, Major Abdullah Al Saman, Head of the Ambulance and Rescue Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said.
Instantly, a competent rescue team rushed to the aforementioned place supported by the aviation wing of Ras Al Khaimah Police.
They were able to locate the two boys, Al Saman added.
The two boys were assisted by the joint work team, and the necessary first aid was provided for the exhausted and tired one before they were transferred to Saqr Governmental Hospital to undergo the necessary medical examinations and ensure their safety.
Major Abdullah Al Saman called on visitors to mountainous areas to stay away from rugged places, which pose a danger to their safety, and to adhere to rules and exercise caution, taking into account the high temperatures that require caution and carrying sufficient amounts of water to avoid exposure to such incidents.
