“This Emirati Women’s Day, the supervision and controlling of the production and distribution operations will be managed by the hands and minds of Emirati women who are creative in performing their tasks from Empower’s Command Control Center (CCC), which is the centralised automated facility to monitor and control the operation of all the district cooling plants and the distribution network of the company,” said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
"Emirati women are experiencing a development renaissance at all levels. They have made significant progress in their journey through various fields, and continue to contribute generously with confident steps towards further progress under our wise leadership. He stressed that Empower is proud of women's participation in every aspect of the Organization's work to support men in a way that ensures gender balance in the work environment and helps attract the best national talents to work in the leading and vital district cooling industry in the region, and qualifying them to lead and drive economic development. "The UAE's wise leadership is keen to place Emirati women in the position they deserve, to give them the care, attention, and respect they deserve, and to enable them to participate in all legislative, executive, and even leadership fields," he concluded.
