The UAE fuel price committee, on Thursday, announced petrol and diesel prices for September. The new prices witnessed an increase between 28-29 fils for petrol and 45 fils for diesel per litre compared to prices of August.
The new prices, which include 5 per cent VAT, will take effect from Friday.
Super 98 petrol will cost Dhs3.42 a litre, compared to Dhs3.14 a litre in August, with an increase of 28 fils, while Special 95 will cost Dh3.31 a litre, compared to Dh3.02 a litre in August, with an increase of 29 fils.
E-Plus 91 petrol will cost Dh3.22 a litre, compared to Dh2.95 a litre in August, with an increase of 28 fils. Diesel will cost Dh3.40 a litre, compared to Dh2.95 a litre in August, with an increase of 45 fils.
