Thousands of iPhone fans flocked to Apple stores in the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall on the eve of the launch of the new iPhone 15.
Apple has set September 22, 2023, to deliver the iPhone 15 to pre-order holders in the UAE and a number of selected countries around the world.
Every year, iPhone lovers seek to stay overnight to receive the new phone, while some prefer online reservations and home delivery.
Thousands lined up to reserve a spot in front of both the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates stores in Dubai, in a scene that is repeated annually (with the exception of 2020-2021 due to the “Covid” crisis, which stopped these queues).
On the other hand, Apple Inc's Chinese supplier Luxshare Precision Industry is producing three models of iPhone 15 series this year, and the business has doubled in a year, Luxshare's chairwoman said on Thursday.
The manufacturer is also making production preparations for apple Vision Pro, a wearable headset device that will be available early next year, chairwoman Wang Laichun told media.
Luxshare has increased the production types and numbers of apple's iPhone products in recent years, Wang added.
