In fulfillment of the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (Sewa) has proceeded with appointing 35 Emirati engineers, who passed job tests.
They will start their jobs next October.
These jobs are part of 200 jobs approved by Sheikh Sultan for national cadres to be hired by Sewa in stages in the coming months.
This was announced by Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Director General of Sewa through the 'Direct Line' programme.
He explained that most of the hired engineers are specialized in electrical and mechanical engineering, and other engineering specializations that are compatible with the fields foreseen by the Authority.
