Al Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, King of Malaysia and Sultan of Pahang, presided over a ceremony to hand over keys to the beneficiaries of the Sultan Abdullah Housing Project (Ru'Rasa), which was financed by the United Arab Emirates.
The ceremony took place during King of Malasiay's visit to the Terengganu State in the Pahang region with the event attended by the Crown Prince of Pahang, Al-Amir Al-Maliki Hassan, the son of Al Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, as well as Dato' Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, the Chief Minister of Pahang, and Amer Hassan Al Teneiji, Acting Charge d'Affaires at the UAE Embassy in Malaysia.
On this occasion, King of Malaysia expressed his gratitude to the UAE and to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for funding this project. This housing project covers the construction of 790 houses for low-income individuals and families and is being carried out over a period of 4 years in all districts of the Pahang State, with an expected completion date in 2025.
On behalf of the Embassy of the UAE in Malaysia, the Acting Charge d'Affaires conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Presidential Court, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for the government and people of Malaysia.
For his part, King of Malaysia extended his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE.
