The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has identified 12 centres to conduct the medical test to obtain or renew a residency visa in the city of Abu Dhabi.
The centre explained that there are 9 health centres which are affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA” to conduct the medical test to obtain a residency visa in the city of Abu Dhabi.
SEHA has identified 3 types of medical test in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with fees ranging from Dhs250 to Dhs500. They are normal test, the rapid test and the special test.
The cost of the normal test according to SEHA is Dhs250, in addition to Dhs50 depending on the job to be registered in the residency visa, and Dhs50 for other specific categories.
The cost of the rapid test is Dhs350, while the fees for the special test whose results are issued within 24 hours is Dhs500.
The pregnancy test for female residents costs Dhs50, SEHA indicated.
Concerning the documents needed, SEHA pointed out that 3 documents are required to conduct a medical test, which include a valid passport and a copy of it or the original ID and a copy of the passport and a copy of a valid residency visa, or a valid entry visa for work or residence, in addition to valid health insurance for those who have a work or residency visa issued in other emirates.
The 9 centres affiliated to SEHA are: The Abu Dhabi Centre, Al Nukhba Centre in Al Khalidiya, the Top Prestige Centre in Musaffah, the Baniyas Centre, and the Union Aviation Employees Centre, Al Mushrif Mall centre, Al Wahda Mall centre, Musaffah Centre, and Al Shahama Centre.
ADPHC added that there are also two centres within the capital’s health test centres affiliated with Mubadala Healthcare Company, which are Al Jazeera Club Centre and the Musaffah Centre, in addition to the medical test centre at Reem Hospital, noting that more information can be obtained by calling SEHA on 800500, Mubadala Company on 023111111, or Reem Hospital on 8007444.
