Abu Dhabi Family and Civil and Administrative Cases Court obligated a person to pay Dhs50,000 in compensation to another after the first entered the latter’s house without his permission besides abusing narcotic substances and assaulting the owner of the house, causing him injuries and moral damages.
Details of the case date back to an earlier time when a person filed a lawsuit against another in which he requested that he be obligated to pay him Dhs100,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages he incurred, besides obligating him to pay the expenses and fees of the lawsuit and lawyer’s fees.
The appellant said that the appellee entered his house, abused narcotics there, and assaulted him, pointing out that a criminal ruling was issued against him.
The court stated that the case papers proved that the criminal ruling convicted the appellee of entering the appellant’s house without his permission and that he assaulted him and caused him material damages, as stated in the medical report, besides moral damages. The court then obligated the appellee to pay the appellant Dhs50,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages he incurred.
