A self-driving super Formula racing car was unveiled at GITEX in Dubai.
The driverless Formula car runs on artificial intelligence algorithms and software will be doing its first trial at Yas Circuit in Abu Dhabi in April 2024.
The autonomised Dallara Super Formula (SF23) is the first self-driving speed car in racing, reaching a top speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
ASPIRE, the driving force behind grand challenges and global competitions for Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), announced details of its highly anticipated Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League.
With a prize pool of $2.25 million, the Abu Dhabi Self-Driving Car Race will feature Super Formula cars built by Dallara, the use of which has been enabled by Japan Race Promotion (JRP).
