Khalid Abdullah Taryam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Khaleej for Press, Printing and Publishing, and Editor-in-Chief of Al Khaleej newspaper, on Thursday received Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, at the headquarters of Dar Al Khaleej in Sharjah.
The visit was on the occasion of the 53rd founding anniversary of Al Khaleej newspaper.
Present were Raed Barqawi, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Al Khaleej newspaper, Jamal Al Duwairi, Deputy Managing Editor and Head of the Home Section, Major Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director of the Press Branch at the Sharjah Police, Hessa Al Shehhi and Maryam Al Junaibi.
Khalid Abdullah Taryam and Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi along with other dignitaries cut a cake on the occasion of the 53rd founding anniversary of Al Khaleej newspaper.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police congratulated Dar Al Khaleej on its 53rd founding anniversary, stressing that Al Khaleej newspaper has been an untrammeled Arab media platform, and a reputable Emirati establishment, which has been keen since its inception on hands of the late brothers Taryam Omran Taryam, and Abdullah Omran Taryam, to address global, Arab and local issues objectively and professionally.
This has consolidated its name in the minds of readers across the Arab states. The meeting discussed aspects of the cooperation between Dar Al Khaleej and the Sharjah Police, especially in the media field, and the ways to strengthen the means of relations and continuous communication between the two sides.
