The security teams of the Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested a 20-year-old man for doing stunts with his vehicle in front of a patrol south of the emirate. The vehicle was also impounded.
As reported by Colonel Mohammed Al Bahhar, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, a video clip went viral on social media showing a four-wheel-drive vehicle whose driver was doing stunts in front of a patrol in one of the areas south of the emirate. The driver’s conduct reflected his recklessness and lack of respect for the policemen, as well as the traffic regulations and laws in force in the country.
Immediately, under the guidance and follow-up of Major General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, a search and investigation team at the Traffic and Patrols Department and the Comprehensive Police Stations Department was entrusted to arrest the driver.
The team succeeded in locating the car and identifying the driver. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was seized, and he is currently subject to legal procedures to be referred to the Public Prosecution.
Colonel Al Bahhar stressed that Ras Al Khaimah Police will not tolerate or hesitate to impose the most severe penalties against anyone who violates the regulations and laws and disrespects policemen who ensure security and safety of society and its members.
