Major General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, on Thursday launched the 'Smart Driver Testing' application at the GHQ of Ras Al Khaimah Police.
Commenting on the new application, Alwan said, “This smart application, which is one of the latest advanced smart tools, was designed by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department for the external testing of drivers, as it instantly sends the testing results to the system, up on which customer is notified through an SMS whether passed or not.”
The step comes with a view to shortening time and effort and reducing errors, in an effort by Ras Al Khaimah Police towards integrating efforts, to gain customer satisfaction with the services offered, the Commander-in-Chief added.
He also praised the 'Smart Driver Testing’ application, which came in support of the Ministry of Interior's strategy that seeks to expand adoption of the latest and best AI technologies, to achieve its mission of promoting development and sustainability.
This was in the presence of Brigadier Jamal Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Colonel Saqr Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Acting Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, and a number of police officers.
