Prime Minister Kaja Kallas of Estonia has emphasised the significance of COP28 as a pathway to achieving climate-related goals.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) during her participation in COP28, she underscored the importance of green transformation in addressing climate challenges, identifying numerous opportunities such as waste management, which can be utilised as a sustainable resource, and the available prospects in the environmental data sector.

She highlighted Estonia's participation in a dedicated business pavilion at COP28 because of the business opportunities in clean technology, which would pave the way for a simultaneous digital transition together with the green transition.
Prime Minister Kallas regarded COP28 as the route to realising objectives in confronting the impacts of climate change. She stressed the collective awareness of challenges such as drought and natural disasters, emphasising the need to act together to preserve the planet.
