Youth leaders at COP28... strong presence to protect the planet

The urgent need to activate the role of youth in climate action and provide them with the necessary tools has emerged to enable them to contribute effectively to protecting the planet and its natural resources and preserving the future of humanity.

Therefore, the United Arab Emirates has been working to empower the youth and activate their vital role in achieving tangible progress in climate action issues.

The participation of young leaders in the events of COP28 shows the serious commitment of various countries to empower youth by launching initiatives and programmes that aim to empower them in sustainable development efforts to help build a better tomorrow.

At COP28, young international leaders are actively participating in various events, discussions, and sessions to consolidate their role in sustainable development efforts and addressing climate change, in addition to opening the way for future leaders of sustainability to share their ideas and opinions.

The UAE is setting a good example by empowering young people to participate in climate action; where it believes in their capabilities and potential and worked to train them and hone their skills to be active in addressing the challenges and effects of climate change to build a future that works for the dreams and ambitions of everyone.

The United Arab Emirates has pledged to make COP28 the most inclusive edition for youth in the history of COPs.
