Push for immediate Gaza ceasefire, UAE urges US

The UAE urged the US to push for an immediate ceasefire of Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
It warned US about the risk of the wider conflict in the region if the three-month long war in Gaza is not stopped at the earliest.
The UAE Ambassador to the United Nations Lana Nusseibeh, in an online interview has called upon the US to ease tensions.
Lana Nusseibeh said in the interview that there is a need for a humanitarian ceasefire now and world can't wait for another 100 days for it to stop.
"The risks are high, the war in Gaza is very clearly an open wound and it's destabilizing the region," she added.
