She continued, "I thank everyone who remembered me with messages, and calls. Oh God, grant us the blessing of health, security, safety, and love for people."
The details of the incident go back to last December, when Rowdah and her husband were injured in the Czech Republic, following a shooting incident, and they were transferred to intensive care.
His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, at the time made a phone call with Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim Obaid Al Ali, Director General of the Municipality of Umm Al Quwain, to check on the couple’s condition.
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, also made a phone call to check on the health condition of engineer Al Ali and his wife, Rowdah.
During the call, Sheikh Hamdan stressed that our capabilities are always harnessed to serve citizens and take care of them everywhere and in all circumstances. Sheikh Hamdan directed the concerned authorities to provide full support and provide the best care for the injured couple, wishing them a speedy recovery and return to the homeland in full health and wellness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed at the time its keenness to provide full support and health care to the injured, in coordination with the Czech authorities and with the presence of a team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
