His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has instructed the people concerned to allocate Dhs1 million through the Sharjah Charity International for Hamda Taryam Matar Taryam’s projects in Uganda to be completed.
Sheikh Sultan’s instruction came during his visit to the Majlis Azaa in Al Wasit suburb, where he offered condolences to Taryam Matar Taryam, father of the deceased, and all Al Taryam family.
The deceased had many charitable projects in Uganda, including the Hamda Vocational and Social Institute, which is part of a group of humanitarian projects previously completed by Hamda Foundation, and the Taryam School for Orphans, which accommodates 350 male and female students at all levels for free.
The Hamda Foundation also completed a non-profit hospital for the city at a total cost of over Dhs800,000. The hospital treated around 300,000 patients for free and performed 5,000 births.
