Abu Dhabi Court of Family, Civil and Administrative Cases obligated a company and an employee working for it to pay compensation of Dhs51,000 to a person, as the employee hit him with a bus while reversing it.
The details date back to the time when a person filed a lawsuit against a company and an employee working for it, requesting that they be jointly obligated to pay him Dhs51,000 in compensation, in addition to fees and expenses of the case and the lawyer’s fees.
He also requested to be checked by the forensic doctor to decide the injuries he incurred and the percentage of disability caused by the accident.
The plaintiff said that the second appellee reversed the company’s bus without caution, and hit him, causing him the injuries mentioned in the medical report.
He explained that a lawsuit was filed over the incident, which convicted the second appellee and fined him Dhs5,000, and obligated him to pay the lawsuit fees.
The court explained that the case papers proved that the second appellee was working for the company (the first) when he committed the accident, which resulted in the damages sustained by the plaintiff.
Accordingly, the court obligated the company and the employee to pay the victim a compensation of Dhs51,000.
