The lowest temperature of 2.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 05:15am on Friday, while the second lowest temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at 6:00am UAE local time.
Active northwesterly winds blow at 40 km/h, while the sea was rough in the Arabian Gulf with waves reaching as high as seven feet offshore.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Saturday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy in general with low clouds appearing in the east. Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and sand-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have moderate to regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and will be rough at times but will have moderate to regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Sunday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy and dusty at times but will become gradually cloudy at night and on Monday morning. Some cumulus clouds will form, accompanied by rains on some western and coastal areas and a gradual rise in temperature.
Light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and sand-stirring at times, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but will turn into rough at night in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.
Monday’s weather will be dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy at times with rains falling on separate areas across the country. Moderate to active southeasterly winds will blow, turning to strong offshore and sand-stirring at 15 to 30 and up to 50 km/h, causing the horizontal visibility to be lower, while the sea will have moderate waves but may become rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Tuesday’s weather is expected to be dusty and cloudy in general with rains falling on separate areas across the country. Moderate to active southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to strong offshore and sand-stirring and causing the horizontal visibility to be lower. The sea will be rough but may have moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
