King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on Saturday received Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama, on a brotherly visit to Bahrain.
The reception ceremony was attended by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment; Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; and Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
At the start of the meeting, King Hamad expressed his deep satisfaction with the enduring historical ties between Bahrain and the UAE, their respective leaderships, and their brotherly people — adding that these ties, rooted in the profound bonds of brotherhood, shared vision, and mutual understanding, continue to strengthen.
The King of Bahrain praised the prominent position held by the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, both regionally and internationally. He also commended the UAE's significant achievements and ongoing successes across various fields, as well as its respected global initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people around the world, and promoting the values of coexistence, tolerance, and cooperation among nations.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, wishing the King and the people of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity, and relations between the two countries further success.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed praised the deep historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain, which the leadership of both countries are continually working to strengthen to ensure ongoing cooperation and coordination, and to broaden long-standing bilateral relations in various areas.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed expressed his appreciation to King Hamad for his ongoing commitment and dedication to advancing mutual cooperation between both nations.
