Sharjah Ruler approves Dhs69.426 million to settle debt of 131 citizens

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide a stable and decent life for citizens, the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee (SDSC) has approved an amount Dhs69.426 million to settle the debt of 131 citizens convicted of financial cases and insolvent deceased cases.

This was revealed by Rashid Ahmed Bin Al Sheikh, Head of the Emiri Court and Chairman of the Committee.

The total amount processed by the SDSC from the first to the 26th batch amounted to more than Dhs1.196 billion, benefiting a total of 2,343 individuals.
