The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported that the UAE will witness unstable weather condition from Friday to Tuesday, due to an extension of a surface air depression from the southwest, accompanied by humid southeasterly winds, with an extension of an upper air depression, accompanied by an air current from the northwest, with the flow of various amounts of rains and clouds flowing from the west and southwest.
NCM expects Thursday’s weather to be clear to partly cloudy and dusty at times, with another drop in temperatures, and humid at night and on Friday morning, with a chance of fog or light fog formation in some inland and coastal areas.
It is also expected that winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, stirring dust, with speeds ranging from 15 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h, and the sea will be turbulent to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of light and moderate rains falling in separate areas, NCM indicated.
It added that from Sunday to Tuesday, clouds will increase in separate areas, interspersed with some cumulus clouds, accompanied by light to moderate rains falling over scattered areas, sometimes heavy at intervals, with lightning and thunder at times, and a drop in temperatures, as a result of the deepening of the upper air depression. Cloud amounts will gradually decrease as of Tuesday evening, NCM reported.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, turning to northwesterly, moderate to active and strong at times, especially with clouds and stirring dust, leading to low horizontal visibility, according to NCM.
The sea will be light to moderate, becoming turbulent to very turbulent at times from Sunday in the Arabian Gulf, and turbulent in the Sea of Oman at times, especially with cumulus clouds.
