Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, has ordered an increase in the salaries of imams and muezzins serving in mosques affiliated with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai.
The step translates a clear demonstration of the government's commitment to supporting the important work of these individuals in serving the community and promoting its value system.
This generous initiative is part of Sheikh Mohammed's efforts to support and enhance the role of imams of mosques in spreading the tolerant message of Islam and consolidating moral and social values.
