The UAE Council of Ministers directed that the Eid Al-Fitr holidays in the federal government be set from Monday, April 8, for a period of one week ending on Sunday, April 14.
The Council said, "The UAE Cabinet announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the federal government sector will start on Monday, April 8, 2024, for a period of one week. Regular working hours would then resume on Monday, April 2024. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has issued a circular regarding the Eid Al Fitr holiday to all federal entities."
The UAE Council of Ministers said that with the addition of the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, the total Eid Al-Fitr holidays becomes 9 days.
