Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, tweeted on the X platform, saying: "The United Arab Emirates condemns the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding inviting the UAE to participate in the management of civil affairs in the Gaza Strip under Israeli occupation.”
Sheikh Abdullah added: “The UAE emphasises that the Israeli Prime Minister does not have any legitimate authority to take such a step, and the UAE rejects any plan aiming to provide cover for Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip.”
“The UAE affirms that when a Palestinian government is formed that meets the hopes and aspirations of the Palestinian people and possesses integrity, competence, and independence, the UAE will be fully prepared to provide all forms of support to that government."
