The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority confirmed that the markets of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are free of non-halal Mars products.
The Authority reassures the consumer public in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi it takes all necessary means and procedures to prevent any unsafe and unhealthy products from reaching the emirate’s markets, as the authority bases its work on technical regulations, systems and legislation, all of which are based on scientific foundations and controls with international references, and are constantly reviewed and updated based on the latest developments.
The Authority stressed the importance of the consumer public having confidence in the quality of food sold in local markets, whether of local production or imported, as all food products traded are subject to strict control throughout the supply chain.
The authorities added that all imported food products are subject to strict controls at the various ports, as no product is allowed to enter unless it is confirmed that it conforms to the approved specifications, in addition to inspections and sampling of food items at sales centers to ensure that the food item is fit for consumption.
