His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Office, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Khalifa Educational Award, affirmed, “The UAE gives the education sector a special place and places it at the forefront of national priorities, and it enjoys comprehensive care and great attention from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Thanks to this attention, our country has succeeded in creating an educational model characterized by excellence, leadership, and quality of outputs. “Our state also paid special attention to early education, and enacted laws and legislation for it. To motivate those working in the education sector, we launched the Khalifa International Award for Early Education.”
This came during Sheikh Mansour’s speech via videoconference this morning at the ceremony honoring the winners of the Khalifa Educational Award in its seventeenth session and the opening of the third international conference of the award at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mansour said: The activities begin today under the title “Education and Empowerment for the Future,” with the participation of elite scholars and education experts in the country, the Arab world, and the world.”
He added, “We extend our congratulations to the brothers and sisters who won this year’s awards, and we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the members of the Award’s Board of Trustees, the General Secretariat, and all the strategic partners and entities cooperating with the Award.”
