His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the appointment of three female citizens: Hind Al Zaabi, Zahra Al Shehhi, and Asayel Al Zaabi in Kalba Municipality.
Sheikh Sultan also ordered that they be compensated retroactively for the period they were not appointed since the date of appointments in Kalba Municipality.
Journalist Ahmed Sultan stated this on the “Direct Line” programme aired by Sharjah Radio and Television where he pointed out that Sheikh Sultan listened to the intervention of Hind Al Zaabi, inquiring about the reason for the Human Resources Department not responding to her request for employment, and not setting any date to interview her.
Instantly, Sheikh Sultan talked to Al Zaabi saying, “We are sorry for the delay and we will grant you a good tip, as you will be employed in the Kalba municipality retroactively, since the names of the appointed in government departments were approved.”
Sheikh Sultan said: “When I listened to the caller’s intervention the programme received at the beginning of its broadcast, I remembered her name, as well as the names of Zahra Al Shehhi and Asayel Al Zaabi. I contacted government departments and the university, searching for the job applications they had submitted, but it was found that the applications were missing, so I decided that they should be compensated. Consequently, I decided to employ them in Kalba Municipality, and they should go to Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of the Municipality.
