The first day of Eid Al Adha brought double joy for some lucky parents who welcomed their newborns on the occasions in the UAE. Many hospitals across the UAE welcomed newborns into the world during the first few hours of Eid Al Adha on Sunday.
Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, delighted to welcome the first baby born on this auspicious occasion of Eid Al Adha to a Jordanian couple. Baby Humam entered the world exactly at 12:00am, bringing immense happiness to his parents, Ali Abdulrahim Al Ibrahim and Hebah Fayez Said Al Zoubi, as well as to the hospital staff. Humam is the fifth child of the Jordanian couple.
Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children, part of the M42 group, happily welcomed the arrival of Eida the newborn on the first day of Eid Al Adha.
The healthy baby girl was named Eida by the Al Rams family from the UAE. Born at 07.50am, weighing 2.98 kg, she has brought immense joy to her proud parents and the hospital staff.

Eida’s father Salem said, “We are thrilled and incredibly grateful to have welcomed our daughter on this special day of Eid Al Adha. I want to thank the entire Danat Al Emarat Hospital team for their exceptional care.”
Omar Al Naqbi, Acting Chief Executive Officer at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children, said: “We are honoured to welcome newborn Eida at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children during Eid Al Adha, adding to the joy and festivity of this significant day on the first day of Eid Al Adha we wish her and her family continued health, happiness, and well-being.”
An Indian couple was also blessed with a baby boy, born at Prime Hospital in Dubai early on Sunday. The baby boy named Liam Nivin of Indian parents Neha Raju and Bivin, delivered at 4:39am, weighting2.720kg by Dr Shameem Mir Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist and HOD along with Dr Shizra Shahnawaz resident doctor.
Liam's parents said that the unique timings of the birth is seen as a sign of good fortune and source of happiness in our family. They thanked Dr Shameem, Dr Shizra and supporting staff of Prime Hospital.
Dr Shameem Mir also expressed happiness on the delivery of Eid baby.
Furthermore, the Indian expats Sagar Gulab Mirpagar and Shalaka Alias Sharmila were blessed with a baby boy. The boy was born at 12:00am at Aster Hospital, Al Mankhool, Dubai, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Mirpagar and Sharmila, the parents shared their joy and said, “We are grateful to God, as He has blessed us with a baby boy. We are so happy for the new member in our family, this completes our family. We would like to thank all our friends and family for supporting us throughout this journey. We would especially like to thank Aster Hospital Mankhool staff, Dr Caroline & Dr Grace Chrisilda for the amazing effort put on by them to deliver our baby safely, their support and guidance was exceptional."

Indian expat Mumtaz Evp Abdulrihman Koroth and Mumtaz Erayath Vadake Purayil were also blessed with a baby boy at RAK Hospital. The baby boy was born at 12:48 am, weighing 3.055kg at the RAK Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The new born baby is the third child of the Indian couple. The Indian couple said that they were very happy to have received our bundle of joy on this auspicious occasion of Eid Al Adha.
