In a heartwarming response to the appeal of a Palestinian fisherman Rajab Abu Riala, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has taken an action to help him and his family find a source of income.
His Highness wasted no time in providing fishing equipment to help him and his family, who have been left stranded due to the difficult living conditions in the Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Mohammed's incredible act is a shining example of the UAE's unwavering commitment to the Palestinian people and its long-standing dedication to supporting them in any way possible.

On 5 November, the UAE under the directives of the President launched the 'Gallant Knight 3' humanitarian operation led by the joint operations command at the UAE Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Zayed Bin Sultan Foundation, and other humanitarian and charitable institutions in the country. This aims to provide urgent relief support to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The UAE dispatched a significant number of aircraft to transport relief aid to Gaza. In total, 395 aircraft were utilized, including 103 planes that participated in the "Birds of Goodness" airdrop, 6 cargo ships to Egypt's El Arish and northern Gaza from the UAE and Cyprus, and 1,243 trucks carrying various types of aid. The total weight of the delivered materials exceeded 33,000 tonnes from food, health aid, and shelter supplies.
