UAE climbs to 7th place in World Competitiveness Index: Sheikh Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday said via X platform, “The UAE has made a spectacular leap, advancing 3 international positions to reach the 7th place globally, according to one of the most important country competitiveness reports issued by the IMD Business School in Switzerland.”

“It ranked among the top ten in more than 90 key indicators and sub-indicators in the Global Competitiveness Report 2024,” H.H. Sheikh Mohammed added.

His Highness added, "We are truly grateful to all the hard-working teams in all government, economic and development sectors who work with one spirit. Together, we are making great strides towards the advancement and progress of the UAE. The future is even brighter, God willing!"
