The number of countries that permit UAE citizens to enter their territories with a regular passport without an advance visa has increased to 91 countries worldwide, including 13 countries grant visas to UAE citizens through arrival airports, entry points, or online.
The Arab World
The latest update of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Visa Waiver Schedule for UAE nationals reveals that the number of Arab countries that UAE nationals can enter without advance visa has increased to 14. These countries are: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Comoros and Sudan.
Africa
The number of African countries that have eased visa requirements for UAE citizens has increased to six, namely Botswana, Eritrea, Seychelles, Mauritius, Swaziland and Senegal.
Asia
The number of countries in Asia that exempt UAE citizens from advance visas with a regular passport has reached 17 countries, namely: Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Korea, Brunei and Kyrgyzstan, while Indonesia, Bangladesh, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Nepal, and the Maldives, grant visas to UAE citizens upon arrival at their respective airports. It is possible to obtain visas for Sri Lanka and Tajikistan online.
Europe
Up to 44 European countries exempt UAE citizens from advance visa to enter their territories with a regular passport. These countries are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Malta, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Liechtenstein, Belarus, Cyprus, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the Vatican, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Georgia, while the visa to the UK, Northern Ireland and Turkey can be obtained online.
America
The number of countries that exempt UAE citizens from entry visas to their territories in the North and South Americas and Pacific countries has reached 10. These countries include two that grant visas on arrival (Cook Islands and Niue), one that grants visas online (Australia), and seven that do not require visas, namely: Guatemala, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Fiji Islands, New Zealand, Antigua and Barbuda.
