Expo Centre Sharjah has signed an agreement with Education Scenario International, based in Pakistan, to enhance the participation of Pakistani universities, colleges and educational institutes in the upcoming edition of the International Education Show (IES) 2024.
Organised by Expo Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the IES serves as a significant platform where educational institutions and professionals can establish direct connections with students and parents alike. It showcases a wide array of educational programmes and services, annually attracting thousands of visitors and educational providers from within and outside the UAE.
The agreement was signed by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, and Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Advisor to Education Scenario International, in the presence of Sultan Mohammed Shattaf Al Amrani, Commercial Director of Expo Sharjah, and other senior officials.
Under the agreement, Education Scenario International shall be authorized to provide the necessary support to Pakistan-based educational institutions to facilitate their participation in the International Education Show 2024.

Highlighting Sharjah's status as a leading destination for exhibitions, Al Midfa noted that the International Education Show saw participation of around 100 universities and educational institutions from the UAE and worldwide in its last edition. This year, the exhibition aims at expanding its reach in the Pakistani market.
This expansion seeks to bring academic institutions together with students and parents under one roof, facilitating the exploration of opportunities by giving students access to educational programmes and scholarships that conform to their desires and preference. It also provides them insights into admission requirements at top universities and the most in-demand specialisations in the labor market.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, noted that Education Scenario International brings vast experience in the Pakistani market, particularly in educational consulting and marketing, and this increases its potential for successful promotion of the exhibition.
He expressed confidence that the agreement will help attract a substantial number of educational institutions to take part in the International Education Show, positioning it as a premier platform for fostering communication and collaboration among universities and educational institutions in the region.
