The Sharjah Media Training Centre, part of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, is organising the eighth edition of the "Future Media Professional" programme.
Starting today and running until 25th July, the programme aims to train at least 60 students at the authority's headquarters in Sharjah, 25 at Al Sharqiya Channel in Khor Fakkan, and 25 at Al Wusta Channel in Al Dhaid.
Participants, aged 10 to 16, will receive intensive instruction in various modern media skills, including radio work, television presenting, social media management, technical filming and editing, technical and engineering operations, and graphic art.
The course offers hands-on learning opportunities through workshops led by media specialists.
Shaima Abdullah Abdul Rahim, Director of the Sharjah Media Training Centre, highlighted that the programme provides an excellent chance for aspiring youth to develop their media skills, broaden their knowledge, and use their summer break to learn new skills that will enhance their future career prospects in various media fields.
