The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has indicted that the tropical cyclone Asna, which originated in the Arabian Sea, is expected to persist for the next 24 hours before gradually weakening from Sunday afternoon, ultimately transitioning into a tropical depression. The NCM additionally noted that the cyclone is currently moving at a speed of 15 km/h and that winds have been monitored at 80 to 60 km/h.
The NCM explained that the UAE is subject to an indirect impact as a consequence of the movement of clouds from the Arabian Sea towards the eastern and southern regions. This phenomenon may be accompanied by precipitation and wave turbulence in the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Gulf. Additionally, there is a possibility of a limited extension of sea water onto some beaches on the east coast during the high tide period on Sunday and Monday.

These winds may occasionally be active, stirring dust and sand, with speeds reaching 15 to 40 km/h.
In the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, sea conditions will be turbulent to medium to light waves.
The Tuesday's weather is likely to be clear to partly cloudy, with the potential for low clouds to form along the eastern coast in the morning.
