Veteran Indian Politician and National President of All India Minorities Department of Nationalist Congress Party (SCP) Siraj Mehdi said the world has lost its moral value to talk about wars, forget about the logical aspect. War has no logical explanation.
On being asked about UAE, and Dubai specially, Mehdi said the Emiratis are the most humble people in the world.
Mehdi said he noticed, “The UAE prioritises in the wellbeing of its citizens and residents.”
He said that’s where the success of a nation begins.
If a nation priorities education, then its future is secured. And this is where UAE tops.
Mehdi said that he saw people of different nationalities in UAE. He said all these people are following their faith without any incident.
Tolerance in the Emirati culture is worth praising. It is something that other nations must follow as well.

Mehdi said, “The sense of security and law and order in Dubai unmatched, and of course the business opportunity it is offering.”
The former Member of Legislative Councils (MLC), Uttar Pradesh and Congress leader said in an exclusive interview with Gulf Today that war only divides us and no party ever wins it. Deep down there is only sorrow and pain that leaves lasting gashes that never heal.
Mehdi was speaking about the war in Gaza, his anguish and pain towards the inconsolable situation in Palestine.
He blames politics and leaders for their silence.
The Gaza war has claimed the lives of at least 40,939 people.
According to the United Nations human rights office, most of the dead are women and children.
He criticises some Western nations for their support of Israel.
Mehdi said these nations, in the name of terrorism violate the human rights of the people.
And in the same way they support Ukraine with weapons and intelligence support.
The veteran politician believes that the only way to get Palestinian statehood is through diplomacy.
If killings had solved the issue, then it would have been resolved decades ago.
Mehdi said that for a long time Palestinians' human rights are being suppressed and many countries have been looking the other way to please certain agendas.
Indian government has its own internal issues.
Mehdi said, “Today the whole world is following the path of secularism, humanism and fraternity propagated by Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.”
