The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court has imposed a fine of Dhs30,000 upon a male individual for the assault of another person with a bladed weapon, resulting in injuries that included a 5 cm cut and bleeding, and that he was treated.
In the details of the case, the plaintiff sued the defendant, seeking a financial settlement of Dhs100,000 in compensation for material and moral damages, blood money, fines, the government of justice, and interest at a rate of 9%.
Additionally, the plaintiff sought to compel the defendant to bear the expenses incurred.
Furthermore, the plaintiff requested that the court impose immediate enforcement of the judgment, without bail, and appointed a forensic expert to examine the injuries sustained by the plaintiff, which were caused by the defendant using a knife. The defendant was therefore convicted of this criminal act.
