The "Make-A-Wish Foundation” succeeded, in cooperation with the Hussein Foundation and Cancer Centre in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in granting the wishes of 121 children suffering from serious illnesses from the beginning of this year until the end of September 2024.
This initiative brought joy and hope into their lives, affirming the power of giving and the impact of collective efforts in spreading happiness.
Commenting on this achievement, Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, expressed his deep gratitude to the Hussein Cancer Centre for its continuous support and effective partnership, stating, "This collaboration with the Hussein Foundation and Cancer Centre is proof of what can be achieved when hands unite for a common humanitarian goal. The smiles that appeared on the faces of these sick children when their wishes were fulfilled remind us of the importance of hope and the great strength that comes from making wishes come true.”
Al Zubaidi also emphasised the vital role played by the Hussein Cancer Centre, not only in providing advanced medical care but also in supporting initiatives that enhance the mental and emotional health of children.
He added: "We are proud to work hand in hand with the Hussein Cancer Centre, as this institution is committed to comprehensive care for children, just as we are at the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Together, we can bring moments of happiness and comfort to these young heroes and their families.”
The CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation concluded, "This achievement is a strong reminder of the difference that can be made when communities and institutions unite to support those in need. Our ongoing collaboration with the Hussein Cancer Centre has proven that through compassionate hearts, teamwork, and a shared vision, even the most difficult circumstances can shine with hope and happiness.
