Ohood Bin Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, explored innovative initiatives from government entities focused on digital transformation during her visit to the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2024.
Continuing its participation on the fourth day of the event, the pavilion showcased several technological advancements aimed at enhancing Sharjah’s service delivery through artificial intelligence and innovation. The Sharjah Digital Department launched the "Mada" platform, designed to unify and manage spatial data across government entities, improving decision-making efficiency and service quality.
In addition, the Sharjah Digital Department introduced version 2.0 of the "Sharjah Digital" platform, featuring an enhanced user experience with a new design and advanced functionalities, including service ratings, payment options, and improved access to utilities and public services.
The Sharjah Police General Command also unveiled a virtual platform showcasing its innovations, including an AI tool for detecting and reporting cyberbullying, aimed at fostering a safer digital environment. Additionally, the "Smart Education" project leverages AI to enhance community security awareness.
These initiatives underscore the Sharjah government's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology to modernise its digital infrastructure and improve government services.
