Various areas of the UAE on Friday witnessed the continuation of moderate to heavy rainfall due to the impact of the low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea, where light to moderate rains fell on West Al Wathba and Arjan in Abu Dhabi, and moderate to heavy rains fell on Malaghat and other areas in Al Ain, as well as scattered areas in Al Dhafra region, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The lowest temperature in the country recorded on Friday morning 19.3°C, was recorded in Jabal Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, while the second lowest temperature, 21°C was recorded in Jabal Mabrah, NCM reported.
Saturday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, NCM reported, adding that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and their speed will range from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h and the sea will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The NCM reported that Sunday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times and humid at night and on Monday morning, with a possibility of fog or light fog formation in some coastal and inland areas. Winds, according to the NCM will be southeasterly, turning to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, and sometimes active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h.
The sea will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. NCM indicated that Monday's weather will be generally clear and partly cloudy at times, with clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon. It will be humid on Monday night and Tuesday morning with a chance of light fog formation in some coastal and inland areas, NCM added.
Winds will be southeasterly, turning northwesterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometres/h, amounting to 35 kilometres/h, NCM reported, adding that the sea will be light to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
