Light rain fell on Masafi and Wadi Al Ajili in Ras Al Khaimah, while medium to heavy rain fell on the Masafi-Dibba road and Marbad in Fujairah.
This was the result of the impact of a shallow air depression from the east, which was coupled with an extension of atmospheric height in the upper atmosphere, as reported by the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM has forecast the potential formation of fog or light fog in some coastal and inland areas on Monday. Additionally, a decrease in temperatures is anticipated on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It is notable that the lowest temperature in the country recorded on Monday morning was 20.1°C in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 06:30 am. The second lowest temperature was 22.2°C in Jabal Mabrah.
The NCM calls on the public to exercise caution while operating motor vehicles during periods of precipitation. It is also advised to avoid areas where water accumulates and valleys flow.
