His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has bestowed a scholarship upon Aisha Saeed Allai, enabling her to pursue and complete her postgraduate studies at the University of Sharjah.
She had previously obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees at the same institution, having achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA in both.
Separately Sheikh Sultan instructed the Ruler’s Court in Dibba Al Hisn to address the matter of a citizen's medical condition, providing her with treatment for a cancerous tumor, given her lack of health insurance coverage.
Sheikh Sultan also directed the Sharjah Education Academy to resolve the issue of a female student and her classmates by ensuring that their educational opportunities were equalized.
He further decreed that a domicile be owned and inherited by a female citizen because she was a Sharjah citizen, while her offspring were enrolled from outside Sharjah.
Sheikh Sultan directed the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) to provide electricity services to the residence of a citizen residing in the Al Qatina area. Furthermore, he instructed the authority to expeditiously conclude the process of connecting electricity services to residences in the region.
Additionally, the directives included equalizing the pricing of the house in which a deceased citizen's non-citizen mother resides with that of citizens, despite the children residing outside.
The directives came in response to pleas received by Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcast Authority (SBA), through the "Direct Line" programme.
