The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, in partnership with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has launched a project to enhance energy efficiency in mosques, which includes the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.
This comes as part of the ministry’s commitment to enhancing energy efficiency and supporting environmental sustainability in line with the state’s directions in this field, and reducing emissions resulting from its consumption in the buildings sector.
This step also contributes to enhancing green mobility initiatives and providing a supportive infrastructure for the use of electric vehicles.
