Other violations necessitate a vehicle to be impounded for 14 days and include entering the road without ensuring that it is clear, reversing the vehicle in a manner that jeopardizes lives, property and traffic safety, failure of a light vehicle to keep lane, stopping unjustifiably in the middle of the road and overtaking in a dangerous manner.
They also include failure to meet the safety and security requirements, stopping on the shoulder of the road in non-emergency cases or overtaking other vehicles on the shoulder of the road, driving a vehicle without a number plate, driving the vehicle in a manner that obstructs traffic and changing the colour of the vehicle without obtaining the necessary licence.
