Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the General Command of Ajman Police announced a decision to offer 50% discount on traffic violations starting from November 4, 2024 until December 15, 2024.
Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said that the reduction decision applies to all traffic violations committed in the Emirate of Ajman before October 31, 2024, with the cancellation of vehicle impoundments and traffic points, with the exception of severe violations, in order to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at enhancing road safety.
The decision is part of Ajman Police's efforts to please all customers and reduce the financial burdens on citizens and residents of the emirate.
He explained that the severe violations exempted from the discount decision are the violation of driving a light or heavy vehicle in a manner that endangers his life or the lives of others or their safety or security, the violation of truck drivers overtaking in a place where overtaking is prohibited, the violation of exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than 80 km per hour, the violation of making changes to the vehicle without a licence, and the violation of running a red light with the cancellation of the reservation only for light vehicles and motorcycles.
Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi called on all vehicle owners to benefit from the decision to pay accumulated violations and comply with traffic rules to ensure traffic safety, noting that the discount decision came with the aim of taking into account the social and economic circumstances of individuals and alleviating them, and the keenness of Ajman Police to enhance the continuity of development and harness the means to ensure the happiness of customers and accomplish their work without disrupting their interests, wishing safety for all.
