Sharjah approves Dhs75 million to settle debts of 158 citizens

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide a stable and decent life for citizens, the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee (SDSC) has approved Dhs75.261 million to settle the debts of 158 cases presented to it.
Rashid Ahmed Bin Al Sheikh, Head of the Emiri Court and Chairman of the Committee, confirmed that the 27th batch approved the amount for those convicted of financial cases and insolvent deceased.
The total amount processed by the committee from the first to the 27th batch amounted to Dhs1,203,637,153, benefiting a total of 2,501 individuals, Rashid Al Sheikh added.
